Good News Coffee Shop in the 15th is looking for a full time barista/server to join our international team! We are an Australian cafe, specialising in high quality coffee, and delicious home-made pastries and meals.
We are looking for an upbeat and confident individual, who is comfortable dealing with fast paced busy brunch shifts involving both table service and making drinks on the machine.
Experience on an espresso machine/with specialty coffee is strongly preferred, but we are open to training if we feel that you’re the right fit for the team. Latte art abilities is also a big bonus.
Experience waiting tables is required.
French and English are required, not necessarily at a fluent level, but enough to serve customers in a polite manner.
Expectations of the job:
-Opening and closing up the cafe
-Being comfortable working alone from time to time
-Striving to meet a high standard of service and drink preparation
-Showing initiative, punctuality, and reliability
Contract is 35h, Weds-Sun, hours range between 7:30am and 6pm with shifts generally lasting 7.5 hours. Mutuelle and transport included.
Salary depending on skill/experience but well above SMIC.
