We aim to create great and innovative new brunch menus in our cafés, and we are looking for someone to create and implement it as well as training and managing our BOH teams.
DESIRED PROFILE
Kozy Paris is looking for someone with the following quality:
-Experienced chef (several years at the main head of a team in a kitchen with high volume)
-Great manager: can inspire and lead a team as well as training new-comers from scratch to become involved and skilled cooks
-Has already created innovative menus and thrives in mixing together different types of cuisine
-Is highly organized and know how to implement a menu to maximize BOH productivity while minimizing effort
-Is crazy-serious about food security and kitchen cleaning and Nevers cuts corner on this
-Is familiar with what is going on in the world at the cutting edge of the brunch scene
-Works best with high autonomy
-Can implement complex plans with deadlines
-Can multi-task on several projects
-Is highly creative and know how to think outside of the box to find solutions
-Wants to dedicate fully to a small but fast-growing brunch and coffee oriented company
-Can accept criticism and grow from its mistakes
-Has the charisma and authority to be fully respected in a kitchen environment
The scope of work is incredibly interesting for a chef passionate about her/his job, with wide diversity. In close collaboration with the founders, you will be:
-Creating innovative menus, from idea, research and development, cost analysis, to implementing in a high volume service
-Training and managing a team to make it fully autonomous in delivering top-class quality day after day
-Hiring new BOH staff members when needed
-Participating in the design of the kitchen in new opening Kozy
