When one of my cooks left, I turned to social media to find a suitable replacement. Instagram gave me nothing except “Wish I lived in Paris -Xoxo” comments, my Craigslist ad kept my spam folder busy for weeks to come and my targeted Facebook conversation to Hospitality friends got hijacked by fellow restaurateurs just as desperate as I was. That’s when I realised there was a gap to fill and came up with the idea of a minimalistic job board for the Hospitality industry in Paris.

A place where restaurants, cafés and bars could seek great staff and a platform for skilled workers to find their next gig. I was lucky that my good friend Yoann (the boyfriend of one of my cook!) agreed to help me turn this project into an actual useable service.

Our goal is for Hospo Jobs to become a reference when it comes to staff hiring within the industry. A website used by many, myself included, to find fantastic staff. We want to keep it simple, quality oriented and spam free.

If you found great staff through Hospo Jobs, please shoot us a line at hello@hospo.jobs, we’d love to feature it.

Nico Alary

Nico is the co-owner of Holybelly in Paris. He started working in hospitality in Melbourne where he trained and worked as a Barista. Surrounding himself with great staff was one of the toughest challenge he had to face when setting up his own business. Hospo Jobs is the website he wishes existed when he was getting ready to open back in 2013. Lover of good food, good coffee and good service you can usually find him at one of Paris usual suspects enjoying what this city does best.
